Unfortunately I have inherited a 78 V50 with a CDI and no spark. The battery is good and I have sprayed all I can find with contact cleaner with still no spark. Is there someplace to go from here? I understand the Hetrerik (sp?) is unavailable. I had the bike running about a year ago then it sat inside storage and now no spark. Tom

There are alternatives. One is the Rec-Ignition unit from Cliff Jeffries.
Carl and Toma and others , Cliff has stopped making them BUT he is Quoted as " going to do another run" of these so get in quick !!!!!
Contact him by email ecu000@myecu.biz to get one from this batch. His unit can run off pick ups or points they just need a trigger.
Here's his response to a post on an OZ guzzi site about failing Dynas etc ( apologies Tod)

OK guys, you've twisted my arm. I can't leave you without an option, especially those with a Digiplex.

I think a Mk II is in order. Quite a few improvements from the ECU can be added. I reckon I can have that ready in a month if nothing gets in the way.

If those interested could send me another email to save me going though my archives that would be appreciated. Don't post here. This is a thread about the Dyna
