V65 cast rims on V7 Classic?

Errh... no.
But if those raging loonies over at Willow Springs doesn't chime in, try a PM.

As I can see, it's just about what they've done. But maybe it's a complete change including a Breva fork?

Why? If the purpose is to go tubeless, the cast V65 (and virtually identical V50) rims are NOT designed for tubeless useage. They can be modified for tubeless-in fact, I did it on my old V65SP, now gone-but there are risks.

Also, they are 18" rather than 17", and very narrow by modern standards.

I suppose the current V7 rims could also be converted to tubeless?

I just assumed they were tubeless. One thing is I hate chrome. Tubeless would be nice too. I'll send an email to Woody's Wheels & see what he can do with the Guzzi hubs.

Maybe some 17" front & rear Excel rims with his Super Spokes.

Aren't the V7C wheels 18" as well? Front is, for sure.

Guess 17" will improve handling anyway. Breva wheels will probably fit right on.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Silver Excel Rims (with the Red logo) , Red hubs, and Super Spokes! I'll get 17" front and back.

Woody's can make them tubeless too.

Only problem is I promised wife I'd pay off the bike ASAP. So the wheels will have to wait until I sell off a few things.
