On my V7C with the VDTS I know I have to set the TPS to a different channel " alfalin_o" signal. My bike runs and performs very well, But I have yet to get a TPS reset "PASS" from it, comes back as TPS failed and ECU did not respond. My question is do you have to set another channel a different setting to get the Pass signal from the ECU ????

Dan, ring up Sandro at TR direct, and have it connected to the bike and the 'net. Let me know how it goes.

So I take it that I might not be alone in this ?

I think I've only heard of one other, but ring him up and post again.

I had a similar, but not identical problem. I couldn't resent the TPS either. Looking harder at the system, I saw that VDST identified that the ECU developed a ROM (read only memory) error. Bike ran fine otherwise. No yellow lights on the vehicle dash.

I saw this an problem with the ECU, and not the VDST, although it does makes me wonder.

Keep us posted with what you find.
