V7 Racer Grab Rails

Hello all,

Maybe has been covered before. My racer is fitted with a 2 seater. To fit the grab rails, instructions say to reverse the rear shock. My question is, does this affect handling or the way the shock behaves? The reasons I want to install these rails are 1, for the wifey to have something to hold on to. And 2, bike is quite heavy to lift up on centre stand.

It does not, and reverse likely means to move the reservoir to the front like on the V7 III models as shown below.

Hi Todd ,thanks for the reply, i will try and turn them as you said. I m also attaching a picture of the assembly instructions.
