I laid her down GENTLY on the left side after which she will not start. All dash lights come on but silence when I hit the starter. I have disconnected the side stand switch, checked the fuses (under seat only) and replaced the battery...Anyone...Buhler...

Not that I know much, but I would suggest tracing the wires from the starter button as far as they go, make sure they are not damaged or disconnected.

How about the kill switch, accidentally flipped to off? I thought there may be a tipover switch somewhere, but can't find it in the owners manual. Also, maybe fuel overflow lines are full, just wait a while to clear?

The V7-III (and probably the others) have a "fall" sensor according to the parts manual. I think it's located behind a side panel.

If you can find it, perhaps disconnecting it might allow you to start the bike again.

I went to AF1's site and looked at the elec diagrams. I saw that the 2011 had a fall sensor or inclination switch but failed to see one in later models. I am also considering the clutch switch which they, oddly, call the lateral stand switch on the schematic. I'd like to know if the "tilt/fall/inclination" sensor is stock on all/other models. Thanks for all the input, Y'all.

Pull your sidecovers off and look for a 1 1/2-2" square black box that rattles bigger than the relays. Shake it up and remount it. Don't be confused they all have one. You could haul it to a dealer, he will do the same thing. They all have clutch switches and sidestand switches, so look for the box that rattles. There is a picture of it in a service manual if you need a pic.

Thank you Steve, Dave, Jacoh and Mayakovski for taking the time to help me out. When I don't know something I try the easiest thing first. In this case battery, fuses, then switches - side stand, neutral, clutch. I still don't know if my model/yr has a tilt switch or fall sensor. Removing the stand switch was easy. I looked at the neutral and thought "how do I get at it?" So, clutch switch then. If no success, to the back of my truck. Bingo!! I pulled off the switch and found the plunger was stuck in the "in" position. It took a bit of effort to pull it out but the bike turned right over. Switch is toast but the bike runs. Thanks again...MLB
