Just got it firing!
Hello,
I'm building a saddlebag rack for my V7 stone. I'm having a few questions about the way to fix it to the motorcycle.
1- Thinking about using the existing rear suspension bolt and the 2 holes (1with a bolt and 1 empty) under the seat, is this a good place to fix it?
2- Does I need a need new, longer bolt for the suspensions? The plate for my rack at this location is 3/16 thick and (of what I know) the bolt is only 25mm long.. do I need a 30 mm bolt instead?
3- Can I drill the hole that is under the seat? There is one with a bolt already in and another one next to it that does not go all the way trought.
4- I'm using a small ammo box as saddlebag, it wont be very heavy since it will not contain much. Will only theses 3 bolt be enough to hold the weigh?(the 2 sides will be linked together with another plate).
Thank you!
