With the help of the GTM INFO team, I have narrowed my suspension upgrade choices to the Piggyback shocks and Fork Kit by Matris and Bitubo offered by the GTM Store. Can anyone offer a reason to favor one brand over the other besides price and the adjustable length feature on the Matris Shocks? Eager to get order in the works.

Unlikely that I will, so not placing much value on it. I accept that both are excellent or would not be offered through GTM store. It's a high price upgrade so thought I would seek personal opinions from forum. Surprised by such a quick response. Thanks.

I have the Matris kit installed and found it made a huge difference over the, for me way to soft and un damped front end.
I went with the GTM 2WS Twin Shocks on the rear, and again was very pleased with the difference between stock, no more bone jarring jolts on expansion joints etc…

Thanks. I’m eager to get the same result.

I have the same combination and it has worked wonders on my V7 III.

I've installed the Matris kit on my V7 850. Easy install. The hardest part was removing the bolt under the fork. The old damper rod just rotated even with an impact drive. Solution was to take a broomstick sharpened like large pencil and put down the fork tube pointy end first, firmly tap with palm to embed the stick into the damper. Hold the stick by hand and have mate turn the bolt.
I've not yet dialled in the kit, just set everything midway for now. The result was an immediate improvement. The old fork would give me a warning to brace my thighs in anticipation of the rear thumping my back. Now I can't do that anymore. The forks are so smooth that for the most part the first time I feel the bump is when it hits the rear. No more early warning system :)
I'll focus on further tuning the fork as soon as I've sorted the rear.
