V7C Wattage output

Does anyone know what the maximum wattage is put out by the V7C alternator. I need over 250 watt output to have my Widder electric vest work properly (with all the electrical systems working at the same time), and over 300 Watt output to also have the arm chaps and gloves work. I had no problem with my 06 Bonnie but could never get all three to work on my 03 HD Sportster.

According to Moto Guzzi the specs are

Tensione impianto: 12 V
Batteria: 12 V - 14 Amp/h
Alternatore: 12 V - 330 Watt
Fanale anteriore: 12 V - 55/60 W
Fanale posteriore: 12V - 5/21 W
Indicatori di direzione: 12V - 10 W

Coils and ECU not mentioned...

Be aware that the alternator output is a peak output, and it'll demand something like 3500-4000 revs before delivered.
As we don't know how much the ECU is consuming - maybe as much as 150 W, as a 10 A fuse frequently are blown, but a 15 A will be fine - I sincerely doubt that you will be able to use that heated gear mentioned for more than very short time.

But - OTOH - the electrical specs seems to be quite similar to the Bonneville. Give it a try - but don't forget the cell phone.

Thanks Holt. I am mainly interested in using the vest, and from what I have read it uses the least of wattage then other makes of heated clothing. But I will carry a pocket full of 15 watt fuses with me at all times   I try to keep the revs above 3500 at all times so will report back on the first cold day, as I do not park my bike for the winter. :D This is the reason why I posted about the hand guards.

Our Nevada (same alternator as your V7) can't run 110w of Moto Lights without flattening the battery, had to change down to 80w (combined).

I had the alternator re-wound - bloke swore black and blue that it would put out more go juice, but it was no different. I later found out that the design of the alternator means it's output cannot be changed by any re-winding.

I recon 300w of current draw will be a no go.

I guess I was not clear on the wattage. Figures are from the defunked Widder page:
Vest 35 w
arm chaps 20 w
gloves 20 w.

That is why I mentioned that I was hoping that it put out at least 300 watts. Sorry I did not mean that it would take 300 watts, as the draw would be 75 watts total, that is 5 watts under the 80 you draw with your lights. If I can just get the vest to work I will be happy. :D
