Has anyone out there put hand guards on a v7iii, looking for something that can be used seasonally to cut down wind, and possibility added for longer trips if I want. I’m looking for suggestions and of course pictures of you have them. Thanks everyone!

Try BarkBusters. Might work.

I’ve had two sets on other bikes, one was a single point mount, blocks air but no crash protection ( trees and the like)
The second pair were proper bark busters with a 1” x 3/8” metal core wrap around guards, those would not work with bar end mirrors

IMHO the single point mounts would be fine for road bikes and make fall riding much more pleasant.

Thanks for reminding me - the heated grips the V7 came with are nice, but wind protection would make it perfect for the fall weather...

Something like these, available through Amazon. Alternatively look at the National Cycle (Honda), units that some California owners have fitted.

Mine were smoked acrylic but I sprayed them black.

What heated grips do you have fitted?

What model Honda hand guards do you recommend. I emailed national cycle and they basically just told me they don’t make them for Guzzi. I told them I was aware of that but was hoping to find something they make for another bike to fit, not so helpful.

I found one great pair at a local store in Northern Ontario *Canada* ( Not Ontario California) carbon cloth covered - nice size - Fit over the levers - very Strong.

Those got bent in an Incident - when looking for replacements - found some on Ebay, Looked similar, they ended up being crap - missing some HW contacted them about the missing stuff... never heard back ...
I can't really send them back to the US... You can guess where they *really* came from ...

Unless you can walk in and see them - I would not be able to recommending anything - Sorry.
Make the rounds of your local bike shops.

If I recall they are N5502 units. Alternatively look at Isotta offerings.

I ended up going with the single point mount Bark Busters. They look fine and work very well.
