V9's Clutch question+issues?

I have approached 6000 miles on my V9 now, an I was wondering if anyone knows how long the clutch lasts in these? I heard some bikes with dry clutches have to be replaced 5-6000 miles and was wondering if thats true because every bike I have owned has been a wet clutch. I did adjust my clutch cable because it didn't feel right.

Another thing is I am having a vibration when riding at low to half throttle at 50+,mph and it feels like its coming from the rear of the bike. I checked for any loose bolts and everything was tight, so if i open the throttle to 3/4-full the vibration goes away. (Maybe a U-joint in the driveshaft if they have one?) I have my dealer service scheduled for next week, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Frequent and correct clutch cable slack is critical to clutch life, and more so to the throwout bearing (see link below). I've installed new clutches in V7s & V9s in as little as 10k miles when abused with adjustment and/or newer riders in city environments. That said, it's not uncommon for them to easily last 30-60k miles when ridden properly with frequent and correct adjustment. See this thread for more info; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-ii-engine-failures-clutch-adjust-notice.16098/

Vibration can be common, but could be something simple like a tire weight balance issue, or it could be a u-joint, but that would be rare. The driveline on most all Guzzis is quite robust (unless abused).

The only times I really get on it is onramps/on the expressway, and when passing someone, when I am just out riding I don't like going over half throttle. I didn't think of the tire weights, that could be it also or damn roads are rough as hell. You basically have to ride like you are hammered to dodge potholes lol.(I don't drink and drive or ride just figuratively speaking).

On a side note those $500 rear shocks you sell for the V9 are they better than OEM?(Softer Ride)

Any of those could be true, and yes, the $439 GTM twin shocks(?); https://gtmotocycles.com/products/gtm-s2w-ifp-twin-shocks -- are superior, especially if you weigh over 170 lbs in gear.

Good to know I weigh over 170 in gear, so when the lockdown is over and I am back to work I will order them.
Very good, and if so, be sure to also order the fork kit as well (or minimally springs) so that your bike will function normally/safely. Doing just one end exposes how bad the other really is.
