20220806 162242 Touring mode! ...can't really tell the difference from normal mode actually
20220809 203356 Two machines with a similar goal, but very different approaches.
20220810 195242 Even enough room for a few creature comforts :)
20220810 105430 Excellent croissants in Castlegar!

A few motorbike-centric images from a trip I took a few weeks back into the interior of BC. The big Breva was lovely as always, OEM hard bags easily swallowing everything I needed to comfortably camp along the way.

Although on a few sections of highway, (no. 3 for those who know the area) I did maybe wish for something a bit sportier... My friend on his VFR had a great time too.

Thanks for posting. Always fun to see out and about pics from those here. Always better with faces on bikes though. ;)

Love riding through that area . Some pretty lengthy inclines too ! On my way to Broken Arrow this
year I camped at the golf course on the outside of town , nice place and some good food also ! Peter

I drove through Castlegar back in July, as part of a family road trip from Vancouver through the Okanagan and Kootenays. The whole time I kept imagining how awesome it would be on my Guzzi…

…and YOU did THAT! Congratulations!

When they gripe about road conditions out here , they have absolutely no idea what a Quebec pothole is :D !
20 years in Ottawa and a decade in St. Pierre de Wakefield gives one an understanding of frost heaves and potholes !
There aren't an enormous selection of roads out here , but what's available are pretty spectacular ! Peter

There are many great motorcycle roads on both sides of the 49th parallel. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest (eastern Washington) and this thread is making me wish for a trip up there. I have ridden or driven that road more than once. Thanks for posting the photos and enjoy your rides in the area.
