Wanting a Griso

Im sure I saw that bike on CL before it turned up at GP. I didn't like the cheap kinda look of the exhaust headers although I'm sure they were very expensive and wondered about the fueling. I bought two Guzzi's within 3 years from GP and they seem to know their stuff.
I wouldn't call Ti Arrow headers cheap

Congratulations!

I'm glad it worked out. I really wanted it also, but riding back to Ohio right now just wasn't in the cards for me.

I'm very happy it went to somebody who really wanted and will appreciate it. Your buddy looks stoked! :)

He is very happy. He has been looking at Griso' for awhile. He traded his MV 675 F3 in on it. He is getting older like the rest of us and is finally starting to understand that. He loved the MV but his words "Its a one trick pony". He bought a nice ST4s a few years ago. This has been his go to bike. He has a few very nice bikes. So the Griso was on his list.

My buddy bought the Griso.
I missed this whole thread until now. Tell your buddy congrats, and hope he can join in here... first post being on the Registry thread; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/griso-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.1098/
I purchased the RB set up early on to try (as did Dynojet, which buys all of it's competitors products) and promptly returned it when it made the bike run worse despite everything I knew to try. If the picture Scott posted is the most current set up, the simple reason it doesn't work well is that it plugs in, in front of the ECU signal. Dynojet abandoned this idea when they moved to the PCIII in 1999! Sensor offset technology is shody at best and produces the result your buddy is experiencing. It should still be using/running on the stock ECU. Happy to get him straightened out.
Appreciate the endorsements on my kit.
