Hi, have many people encountered warped front rotors? I did read someone else complaining about this, my front brakes however very good are pulsing very hard. I have 11k kms on the bike and it seems to be getting worst. On a brighter note I do have the second servicing booked for 7 July, I am not wanting to argue or beg for new rotors that should be covered by warranty. Anyone else encountered this issue with front brakes??

Check this forum for the issue. Several solutions are given from heavy breaking to free up the buttons, to procedures for cleaning the buttons on the rotors. It may also be deposits from the brake pads on the rotor. The rotors usually do not warp, but other conditions give the same effect.

I was fairly certain mine were warped and so was my dealer. Guzzi wants measured runout so if the dealer test rides the bike and says yes they are warped make sure he measures how much before contacting Guzzi or else you will be returning to him. Mine were quite a bit out. I know some can be from the buttons, etc. but changing mine fixed the problem. They were covered under warranty,

I,m pushing 11 k miles on my 14 Touring and have been dealing with the pulsing for 6 k miles. It is worsening with the mileage. On my next service I will be arguing to get my rotors replaced. My BMW K1200 gt has 65000 miles and brakes as smoothe now as it did on day one.
