Warped Front Rotors

I've got what appears to be a warped front rotor. It's not noticeable at speed, but the slower the bike is, the more it's noticeable, till the point where it "bobs" when almost at a stop. It's been suggested that I try braking hard a few times - tried it, didn't help. Also pulled the calipers and sprayed them out with brake cleaner last night - didn't help. Also, tried spinning the wheel with my fingers on the rotors, and didn't feel any obstruction. Dealer told me that Guzzi won't warranty them after the initial break in service, so I want to be damn sure that is what it is before buying new rotors, or fighting with warranty claims.

If it helps, it seemed to have started while/after going through several hours of a VERY strong storm/heavy rain.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem four times of five brakings...
Really scary on bad pavement and in the end of a hard braking!
Will try to make it a warranty item.

I tried many of the suggestions on that norge thread to no avail. Took it in, they put a new rotor on and problem seems to be fixed. They did warranty it, and I was told they will up until the second (6K) service.

Bought a clean used '09 Stelvio and noticed the pulsing when using the front brake (previous owner said he didn't notice it). Was replaced under warranty which is good because damn they are expensive! ($487 per receipt, not sure if that was for 1 or both). Anyway, the front brake works as it should now!

Got the same issue on my V7 cafe....waranty took care of it....now brakes are fine again....(new rotor...) if its not under waranty still, EBay is always having brand new performance rotors on sale for pretty cheap....I just didnt like the petal shape on a classic bike....but on yours, should look nice anyway....
