I'm looking to replace the stock grips on my California 1400 with Kuryakin grips but can't seem to figure out which model number will work. Can anyone help me on this. Thanks.

Roland, I too looked at the Kuryakyn Iso-Grips when I was trying to get away from The huge 37mm stock grip. The problem is that Guzzi (and apparently some Aprilia's) are sold with the grip AND the tube already made together. The "tube" is a specific part for the bikes that are "fly by wire", like the Cal 14, and the Aprilia RSV4. I could not find ANY aftermarket mfg. that made plug and play grips for the Cal 14.
That said. The grip and tube are available in a 32mm version that fits the 2015 Aprilia Capanord. That and the Cal 14 share the exact same right hand housing. Try this along with your search. The tube looks almost like any other, BUT here are the critical dimensions.
Tube inside diam. 23mm
Tube outside diam. 26mm
Retainer ring thickness 6mm
Space between the end of the grip and the retainer ring 7+mm
LOA 132mm

If you can find a grip than has the same ID and LOA as the Stock grip, I dont know why the stock grip couldn't be cut off and the new one of your choice glued on in it's place. As long as you have the "fly by wire tube" you should be good to go.
Good Luck
Kirk
