G'day Everyone,

Wow we are a quiet bunch. Whats everyone been up to. I am about to hit the 10,000km mark on my beast and will get a service done. Bike is running nicely although the only thing that I do not like is the tyres. Original Metzlers, lousy in the wet. and not very reassuring. Still don't like the chrome bits and am thinking still about what I will do. Wish list is still to get a muffler probably in the coming weeks. I am still deliberating on what to get. Had a nice ride up to the Reefton Hotel for lunch the other day, went via Neerim South, Powelltown and then back home via Gembrook. We certainly do have some great areas to ride all year. :D

Ride safe

Everybody must be too busy riding......including me :D

Nothing :| Left home 6am yesterday to go for a ride and was home by 7.30. To hot, humid and sticky.
I won't be doing much riding this summer if this weather keeps up :(

Rode from Auckland to Taupo on Saturday to attend the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club AGM - about a 300 Km ride.

When I woke up on Sunday the weather looked like it might be alright - so I decided to return to Auckland vis Masterton and Wellington (Overnight in Wellington) - a return trip totalling a bit over 1,000 Km.

Stelvio running like a dream, even better now that the speedo sensor has been replaced, finally. Only down side is that now I need a new front tyre, its chewed out on the sides

Well I have been on some good day rides with the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club these last few months, Coromandel, Te Aroha, Coroglen, but they are now on hold for a while, came off at 20Km/hr on some road works 2 weeks ago, I am ok thanks to good gear but I know you only want to know how the bike is, well I have ordered from Moto Kiwi a new muffler, centre stand cut it in half like a guilotine, lh handle bar, lh panel (exhaust mount snapped) Givi 46 lit back pack, 2 into 1 from Agostini, rear hugger brackets snapped, no damage to head or plug, actually i think the back pack saved the day. Vero insurance have been brill. Watch this space
Kevin, with a sore knee and shoulder :(
