Thought the title would get you looking .... well not a lot.. :)

I starting visiting this forum for tips and advice after buying my Breva 1100. I found more

I've had my Breva 1100 for 12 months and just had the 10,000km service completed.

Problems
[*]Slight movement of the rear wheel bearing. To be fixed under warranty
[*]Slight pulsing of front brake at low speeds
[*]The outside CARC-to-swingarm screws were slightly loose
[*]Once I've noticed some condensation in a corner of the instruments.

Overall I'm very happy with the bike. Great tourer. I'm about to have the heated grips fitted, too.

Same here...dileriously happy with my Breva 1100. Great fun to ride, very comfortable and only had an issue with the dash (4 months, 4000-ish km I think)...as at exactly 1000km the LCD on the instrument panel mysteriously died. Everything else (speedo, tach, idiot lights) on it works fine, so since my nose is a pretty good temperature gauge and I also possess a watch :), the only bit of information I'm really lacking is the odometer...
I also noticed the false reset on all 3 gauges and a bit of condensation...so it's probably a bad dash and the dealer will be replacing it under warranty once the riding season is over.

Heh, it's a pity the old phpbb2 forum seems to have died terminally, as it was full of love stories. It's what made me go for a Guzzi.

Nothing wrong with mine, except she ain't riding too much lately and she's got a very minor oil leak in an unlikely-if-not-impossible place. Just proof she's for real I presume :)

Had a black series in the beginning of this year, but the bike proved as robust as myself ... except I didn't require expensive manual labour bills or parts to be produced out of Luigi's capricious magic hat ;)

rturo: that red light is a combined warning light, if you really have an oil problem the LCD on the dash will show an aladin's lamp. The red light will also show when you blow a turn signal ... and then the dash will show a bulb and an arrow pointing to the affected side. Ain't she clever? :D

In fact, my largest tale of woe with Guzzi has to do more with GuzziTech, and its slew of forced reincarnations ;) I still have a backup of the 1st server I witnessed crashing, but not of the forum that was run afterwards and kept online here for a while ... Todd, you reading this??
