Where do the shims go on Police bike ,drum brake forks?

I disassembled forks from an early 70's Police bike with drum brakes and took pictures of all the details. After cleaning and painting I come to realize the phone has since been destroyed. I'm having a problem remembering the orientation of the slider and shims on the tubes. I have looked on this forum and have not found an answer.
Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.

Hello JZ, yes I do have the wrench to remove 34.
I have seen this parts diagram on a few different sites. What I haven't seen is the parts description. In other words the name of each numbered part. I will go back and look at Greg Benders site to see if I missed it. Thanks for your reply JZ. I will keep checking for responses as to where exactly do I place the shims. I need to deliver the forks to my customer by tomorrow.
Everything is painted. Everything is clean. Seals are installed. Just want the shims to go in correctly.
 
Here's another way to help me with this situation.
I am attaching 3 photos of possible ways of assembly. Perhaps one is correct.. Anyone want to give me some input. If it was machine I'd go with what I think is correct however being hired I am wanting it right the first time. I just now found the pictures are inverted. Sorry about that.

41 is an o-ring, 42 and 44 are shims of different thicknesses, 43 is a retaining ring. Your third photo is correct - they fit onto the fork tube/into the fork lower above/after the top bushing and are held in place by the retaining ring.

In addition to the spare parts manuals on Greg's site with names for each numbered part, both Harper's and Stein-Dinse have parts look-up diagrams with the same.
