The handlebars on both the Mille & the Griso are exactly the wrong height for me.

I had decided that I would do lower bars on Mille & raise the bars on Grizzly.

This past weekend I took Mille out & it was mid 90's by 9am so I went home & pulled the small windscreen off & headed back out. I also swapped the 3/4 hat for a full face HJC.

I ran her up through the gears & found the sweet spot & settled in for a cruise. I don't know how many miles I had gone but I realized that my back, neck & shoulders were not hurting & there was no tingling in the right wrist. I glanced at the speedo & was rolling along at 80mph. I put almost 300 miles on her in perfect comfort so the windscreen is now on the extras shelf.

Grizz has a small fly screen so I pulled it off but it rides better with it on. Now I'm wondering if I want to raise or lower the bars on her. I'm thinking if I raise the bars it's going to put more of my body in the wind & I don't want to change her lines with a bigger windscreen.

Handlebars can be such a pain there are so many different bends etc...
I had a set of Dan Moto adjustable clip ons on my Black Eagle & they worked well just don't know how well they would work on Grizzly. I like the wider stance & can't imagine trying to herd the Grizz with clip ons.

Just rambling here, helps me to think.....

I replaced the bars on my Griso with bars that were about the same height (maybe slightly lower) but a different pull back angle. The main issue I had with the stock Griso bars was not the height but the awkward angle for the pullback. I have heard from others that Aprilia Mana bars work well. You could also use Guzzi BillyBob bars. I am using dirt bike fat bars, I forget the bend.
I have the little Guzzi flyscreen.

May be pull back instead of height it just seems all my weight is on my arms & that puts a kink in my neck.

It was the same with the Mille but with the windscreen off & the air pushing against my chest seems to relieve it.

I used to love to wrench & try different stuff but now I just want to ride
