Bike collected today, man who collected thinks it may be the clutch!!!! I have my doubts as that surely wouldnt cause smoke from just turning ignition on but will see.

Lets just say you don't waste money sending the sharpest knife in the drawer on errands.

Was meant to have a phone call today to see what will happen with my bike. They have said it is poss the clutch and they will have to replace. however I am not sure if they will do it as I have said about the probs I have had. i love the style of the bike and really want it back FIXED. I dont know if I should, they do have a nice Tiger there so am tempted by that but I really want my Norge :(

The clutch won't stop the bike from starting, but a bad microswitch at the clutch lever might. Once sorted, you will like the Norge.

Hi john

Bike started when they come and collected after the smoke and burning smell, I have been told that its the clutch or something to do with it. The Guzzi dealer they usually use is off with a broken leg so they may have to take to someone else. I want to keep, other half don't want me to. I am in 2 minds but just love the style of it so may just have to face the music and wait for it to come back. A few weeks I reakon.

The beast is back, was the lambda sensor after all, burnt through the 3 wires, been out for an hour or so and ran like a dream. Touch wood will be ok now. :D
