Gents, I received a great deal of help trying to get a fuel pump issue resolved on my 2007 Griso from members in this forum, and I was very successful in getting the fuel pump replaced and the bike operational. I have put the bike for sale at 2700 miles, and a very good experience Guzzi buyer is very interested in purchasing it for what I and the dealer thinks is a great deal. Well got all the fluids changed, and then took the bike out for the first time in 2 years and she rides absolutely awesome! I live in the country so I gave her a good welcome back to the rode ride. Gosh, I just could not believe the power on this bike. Turns beutiful, accelations dynamic, all the reasons why i bought the bike. Anyway took it to get inspected and it took 10 minutes. Signed and left to the dealer to actually show him the bike as he is interested in looking at the bike. Well, he comes out and looks at it and fall in love with it, then he tell me that I should not let it go for the 6k that am selling it for... Especially with almost no miles on it. I looked and the odometer was set at just 8 miles!!! His very experience mechanic came out and looked and ran a diagostics on the computer, and she checks out without any problems... What is the problem you ask? Prior to changing the fuel pump she had 2700 miles on it!!! Wow, I went through every thread and heard of somebody going up but not down... Dealer and mechanic were clueless... Mechanic told me that taking out the battery and letting it sit for a few minutes to let the cpu settle might do it, but it did not. Has anyone heard of this issue before? Please let me know. Thanks.
