There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. The older I get, the faster I was…😆
Circa 1999, California Motor Speedway on my beloved 1998 V-10 Centauro.
It was the first one ever ridden on that racetrack. Nobody that worked at the track had ever even seen one! One of the most fun days of my life...
No, I have ridden several motorcycles with them, especially race motorcycles, and I even have a quick shifter on my Ducati Multistrada and it is infinitely smoother than the V100 version.
Let’s cut to the chase, because quick shifters evolved from racing, where a tenth of a second separates...
To presume that we (John & I) don’t know how to properly operate a motorcycle, after a lifetime of riding and wrenching and racing motorcycles, is extremely unkind.
It’s very likely that we were both riding when you weren’t even born yet.
If I am in the twisties or on any track, you had better...

Humans make mistakes. We learn that way.
I tend to be much more forgiving as I age because I realize just how many times I have made a mistake. I also never mastered walking on water or turning water into wine, so I would feel ashamed asking perfection of another when I am incapable of it...
Welcome!
You will find lots of info and people who love chatting about Moto Guzzi as well as the other myriad of motorcycles they own as well.
FYI: This notice was at the top of the page where you made your introduction.

I completely agree John.
It’s on my V100S Mandello and I’m totally unimpressed.
The stresses placed upon the gearbox are extremely violent. I don’t care what they say.
No matter how I try to shift with that, it is way too harsh for my taste and using the clutch is so simple and easy...
Well imagine that.
That’s a good dealership you should support. They are acting on your behalf. Good for them and you!
Remember, you catch more success with honey than vinegar. 😆
I wish you success!
@BDS BTW: Any time you want to hook up and ride, I’m available! Would be nice to meet.
Also, if you are ever up this way, you are always welcome at the Moto Migliori!
I love company.
I think my motorcycle and yours are alike. No issues on mine either. 🤞👍🙏
I love this bike! She is a hoot to pilot. I really enjoy riding her. Looking forward to some trips soon.
Ah, retirement is lovely! 🥰
I’m sorry that you had issue with them.
For every single business in the world, there will be 2 sides to every coin…
All I can say is that it always has been a positive experience for me.
Digital camera or phone camera is your best friend.
Take pictures every step of the way and you will be fine.
You cannot have too many photos. No such thing.
