U.S. Relay to the Rally 2009

Nice Aaron!

The blog is something only I can update, so it's not you. ;)

Send me words direct, or post them here and I'll grab them for the Blog page, good?

I see so.......

Yesterday Dan and i took the flywheel and went looking from trouble.

Which landed us at this place.

After being scared straight we went to the new Moto Guzzi Dealer in NYC, Brooklyn Vespa. We met the owner and a sales man. They were very nice and we all posed for this.

At the bridge, we ran in to 2 men visiting from Italy. They posed for pics with the bike and I think one told me he was friends with the own of Moto Guzzi, I'm not sure which owner.

Then to the old county, Little Italy.

While taking this picture an English woman with her family stopped to chat about the California. She has a v50 in England. Some one find her her, her poor bike has not been running in awhile.

We took many pics. I sent them all to Todd. Should I post all are you going to?

After Manhattan Dan went to have dinner with his girlfriend. My wife was still in the air flying back from LA, so the Flywheel and I went to see the sunset.

When we got home I convinced the flywheel that is would be a shame to come to NYC and miss the Bronx. So he agree to drive past Yankee stadium but No stopping or Pictures. So this morning, at 6:55am the Flywheel briefly visited the Bronx completeing it's 5 borough tour of NYC.

At 7:30am I met Keith and Dan at the Tick Tock Diner in NJ. After beakfast we took the long way to Albany to meet Wasppp. The first stop was in Newburgh, NY where I claimed OCC in the Name of Luigi.

Then we went in side and found this

Are You Kidding me. That was unexpected. I was so moved, I relinquished control of OCC and moved on.

I then showed Keith and Dan some of the best motorcycling roads in NYS. we stopped for a few pic, but not many the riding was too good. At this point I realized we were going to be late to met Hal, unless we got a move on.

So we were Late, but HAl has the FLYWHEEL. I was very sorry and want to smoothing things over with Hal, so handed the flywheel right over.

Well That was a lot of fun and this was the most Guzzis I have seen in one place in NY.

Thank you Guys, for meeting me and riding to day. Thank you, Todd. I had a great time doing this. After the hand off, we bombed down the Taconic Parkway back to NYC. The 400 mile day complete with only a little rain and lots of great riding.

Good Luck to the rest of the team. Ride safe.

I hate work.

I work downtown and was thinking about you guys for the last two days bombing around the boros. Thats my building across the river in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge.

On the up side I was sitting in a little gyro place on Rector St today having lunch and a red Sport (or something late 90's/early 2000) motored by quicker than I could ID it.

***Great job guys - the pics are excellant***

Ed in NJ

After prying the flywheel away from Aaron (the first son of Accord) the package headed 45miles north east to a super secret location  awaiting delivery to Doug over in MA.

Great meeting you guys today, we'll have to meet halfway sometime to do a little riding.

Hal

Sean, please bring the conversation here. If you make it to AJ's, tell them the old MGNOC Mass Rep says hi.
