V7 Racer fuel pressure regulator question.

I just pulled the regulator, and bingo. I can blow air straight through it, it's not holding any pressure at all.

New regulator is out for delivery, should have news by the end of the day today.

Also discovered a nice helping hand trick for fuel tank/pump removal :inlove:

Well, I guess I posted in the right thread, because I had the exact same issue all said and done.

I'll never know if my old fuel pump & filter could have survived the caked-on ethanol gum deposits from sitting without stabilizer added, but I do know now that it wouldn't have been pretty. Now the whole fuel system is practically brand new, including the metal fuel filter from gtm. Great peace of mind.

This thing is running like brand new!
 
Thanks for posting this thread and the parts link.. I had given up trying to start my 2013 after 3 years also. killed a battery, would only puff once. Mechanic has been working on it ECU isn't throwing errors.. replaced plastic fuel filter and that didn't help. I have the Guzzitech intake no top air box so it would barely then start but couldn't take any gas and die. Ordered Regulator, crossing fingers.
