Interested to know what you have done with tyres. I read through and see some interesting debates and suggestions. One of the most important is to run them in and it sounds as though you have a issue as loosing air means that they might not be seating correctly. I hope you get them sorted...

have you checked the seals. have you applied a little silicon grease. I think a quick wipe with the grease will see if they are sealing all along. I have a soft top that often needs the seals cleaning and then a quick wipe with silicon grease to seal back up
David good to see you found your fault. Mine is similiar on the bellagio. I have a speedo that some times works then packs up and is back working. with that news I will check my fuse connections.

Thanks that is the manual that i have already. I searched on the net and found some others too.
I think the speedo sensor is causing the issues and am going to order anther one. the wire does not have any voltage on it. i also used a meter and with ohms did not get a reading so it is not...
Thanks John. the wirring diagram i have is very small. will try to expand to find out if this wire should be connected. plus i am going to check the speedo connectections and see if there is any voltage to this wire. plus check the speedo wires. i am hoping this is the issue.

I have checked the speed sensor under the wheel. Took it off and it looked ok. No water infress. Cleaned all the battery connections. Took off the starter wires and cleaned them all. Put the leads back together.

i did a search on ebay and found single ones. i also used to have a local supplier in the UK that you could purchase single. have a look on ebay. should be easier and posted to your door.
I had my frame and parts powder coated for the california II. it was a gloss black finish but came back up like new. Good to hear recommendations.

On most of the bikes that I have worked on the large nut at the top has to be undone. easier when the forks are out or that you can get to the top. then make sure that you also drain all oil out. The ideal is to have both at a equal level like dipping your engine oil. this way you will get the...
thanks for your help. I found bidding on ebay that my issue is the original headlight as you say. I do not have the original one. I am going to fit the cibie in and use. If i get chance to buy a standard one then I might when I come to sell the bike.

under the seat i disconnected two blocks and found a slight moisture of water in one. the weather has been very hard with lots of water.

I hope you can help. I had three indicators in the display. I managed to clear them although one is still there. I have cleaned the connections to the battery and put silcon grease on the terminals as a blue reaction happened.
