There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. IMO, we should remain true to the spirit of the award: Using the money to help a Guzzi rider injured while riding that year. Is that accurate, Todd? Was it meant to be exclusive of those killed? Was it meant to be inclusive only of those who were riding a Guzzi at the time?
Seems like answering...
If updated, there's nothing wrong with the hydros. They actually run more civilized than any of the others and require less maintenance. If I had one, I'd get a spare cam update kit to rat-hole, as they're a great value and have everything you'd need in case the worst happened. I'd also get the...
Send the engine to me. It'd be best used to perk up my Eldorado . . . I'd have to do something to reduce the squirrels-in-a-cage whirring noises those things make.
That paper filter supplies enough air to get nearly 130hp out of an RSV Mille. It is unlikely to be the restriction in the system for a 70-hp Griso, or even a 90-hp 8V Griso. Nevertheless, I have fitted several of the K&Ns to Grisos, and the riders claim an improvement in midrange.
Norge and most Brevas have different clutches. Most Brevas have the tried-and-true Guzzi two-plate clutch. Norge has a new single-plate clutch, and there is very little real-world data on how long it will last.
There are two series of Breva 1100. The early ones had a different throttle and switchgear than the Norge. Late Brevas have norge throttle and switchgear.
Mike Taylor had carried the Baton from Arkansas to the MGNOC National Rally in Salida, Colorado. After a nice presentation by Sam Baker of Texas on the history of the Baton and the Injured Rider
After trying everything from bicycle pumps to electric pumps to CO2, here's the tire kit I found to be the best and handiest for use on a Guzzi. It's got an engine pump, patches for tubes, plugs for tubeless tires, and the tools to insert the plugs. It all fits in a handy little bag that stows...
Reads just about dead nuts on all the time now. Over 80 mph, it reads a little fast again, 2 mph or so. The odometer is extremely accurate, within 0.001 miles, according to the bicycle speedo.
Re:Piaggio Group Reveals Strategic Plan for 2009-2
Good Lord.
Take the Milwaukee out of H-D and see what happens. We are going to see what happens when you take the Mandello out of Moto Guzzi, sadly. Cheap scooters for the lot of you. It has already begun. Those of you who do not work with...
I posted a thread a few years ago about how to really make and keep your cush drive functional. Almost always when I disassemble one, they are frozen in place and nonfuctional for rust and lack of grease. There are several levels to which you can take it:
The most basic is to pull it apart...
I pulled apart my ITI speedo just before the National ride, just to see how the greasing I did 21,000 miles ago (at about 7,000 miles) was holding up, and also to calibrate it more precisely. I had already turned the needle back about 10 mph at 70 mph, but my calibrated bicycle speedo showed...
I can tell you from experience how difficult it is to get a customer to accept the fact that Guzzi will not warranty his front rotors that warped after 6 months of ownership and a few thousand miles. That's over $700 in parts alone. The rules haven't changed; it's just that they are now denying...
