There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. Something happened to me in a rain storm. I used compressed air in the key slot followed by some WD-40 and it never happened again. (in the last 5 years.).
I did not shoot video while conducting the Maintenance. I may start, my wife said I should start a Vlog on Youtube called "Gettin shit done with Bubba" Before I get into how it is done, I want to be very clear that this procedure is NOT mine. I was instructed on how to do this as I did it by...
Take a look under the rear fender along each side there ism a bracket with three holes in it the most aft one should have a body clip in it. That one needs a bolt in it to greatly reduce the bounce 8mm I think. They seem to fall out alot. I was loosing my break lamp because the bounce was...
Belt changed, job was not bad at all. Didn't need to take the whole thing apart either and did not cut anything. You can get at it in place just need be able to work in tight spaces. The grooved belt was a little worn but was not as bad as a V belt would have been. Again I did not say ignore the...
First off there is no reason to be rude. Perhaps it was a poor choice to put "Yet..." but I thought it was funny. Just because I have not pulled my engine in accordance with the shop manual to replace a belt, that I have looked at with a bore scope does not mean I don't change my oil...
Mine bent to the point where I had to bend over to swing out. I ended up removing it bending it back and welding two 1/4x20 bolts along the bottom of the loop. That gave it strength to keep it from bending until breaking and had the added bonus of the bolt heads at the end for grip on my boots.

My 16 Eldo is my daily rider in the PACNORWEST so it gets rained on all the time. I do try and keep it clean. One morning at 0400 I put my key in turned it and nothing happened.... I grabbed the key and...
I have a 2016 Eldorado I have 40,000 miles on it. The only issues I had were a hanging throttle that was fixed by replacing the Temp sensor. (under warranty). A few fasteners that preferred to strip out rather than come out (easy fix I ordered spares). I ride in all weather every day. They only...
When I noticed the key was left on it had been a few days and the meter only read 0.04V at the battery. I put it on a"Dumb" charger for about an hour and it read just over 6V. I had to do this because my tender/smart charger needs to see 3V or won't do anything. after a few hours it read 12V...
My battery died. I left the key on for about three days. After recharging the battery I turned the key on and after the speedo sweep the head light turned off and the display read "CAN BUSS ERROR". What does this mean?
My Eldo did not come with a cable. Simple fix I put a hose clamp on the frame rail left side with the "Pig tail" facing inward I hang the helmet D ring on the tab and install the seat. Inspired by the post on old triumphs under the hinged seat.
Traction control can get you into trouble. I was riding on a horrible overpass and bridge and the road was so mangled the traction control was killing power I found myself at max speed of 40 on the freeway until I pulled over and dropped it to level 2 no issues since.
