    Found a deal on a 2020 v85

So I found a 2020 v85 with 377 miles on her. Picked it up for 7500. Brand new and cheap for such a great bike. Always wanted one but I never jumped until now. I’ll post picks later.

    1st year issues

First ride after my first service. Riding down the 76 when many light’s blossomed on my dash. Big message “engine fault” flashes on screen. Bike is running but you can feel something is off. Shut bike off and coast down to the local burrito shop in neutral. Go to check oil, about a quart goes...

    More goodies

Local store had bags, touring windscreens and engine guards, in stock. The windscreen is perfect. It’s low setting is at the high setting of the stock one. It’s good for keeping bugs out of the two slots up front when down. The engine guards seem fine. The bags lock in tight. The seat seems...

    Some Accessories for V100 arrived

So I ordered the Guzzi rear rack and top box. My wife won’t ride with me unless she has a back rest. The rack came in. It is large. It doesn’t look to bad and it is well made. It will add some weight though. Also, SW Moto has tank bags available. The one I ordered is the micro. The perfect size...

    V100 deceptive beauty

So like many here it was love at first sight! Guzzi announced their new lust on wheels. I ordered one! I waiting patiently, sort of, and watched the months drag on. Then I got the call. She is here! First ride was a freeway run to some twists on my way home. The seat feels like it holds you...

I’m back again!!! V7 iii stone

So it’s hard to be a Guzzi guy without a Guzzi. So I am back. I bought a left over 2017 that the dealer had painted. My local dealer took good care of me. They always do. They make owning a Guzzi simple. I added Minstrel slip-ons, Multistrada kit, & Rizoma mirrors. I have the Guzzi windshield...

    2018 Guzzi models

With the demise of the 1200 and all the models this motor resides in what do you think Guzzi will do next. Cycle world showed a quote from Guzzi that a new motor is in the works that is very different then the V7, V9, or the 1400. I suspect water cooling a 1000 to 1200 to meet Euro 4 and beyond...

    Retired old Ducati

I decided to retire my old Ducati. Only comfortable for about 40 miles. So she is now art. Wife started to complain then just shook her head and said that looks pretty bad ass.

    Moved my Agastoni rack

i pulled the Agastoni back rest and rack off of the California and put it on the Audace. I had to add a washer to the front mounting points. The seat had to be pushed a little harder to get it on but it works. The rack touches the rear fender a bit under the seat. It should be ok.

    Rode two new Triumphs

So I rode the new Triumph Bobber and the Street twin. One was the 1200ht motor. The other was a 900ht motor. Both well executed. The Bobber I did not like until I rode it. After that I kinda fell in love with it. The motor is fantastic. The 900 motor has a power band similar to the new V7 III...

    Audace brilliance

I rode the Audace many miles yesterday. Some freeway, some city, some mountain roads full of fun twists and turns. It was fantastic in all aspects. I chased my buddy around on his new Griso. We had a great time. I can't believe how good that big girl handles. I even had a old codger pull out in...

Test Ride a V7 III today

i had a 2012 v7 racer before. I had a race map on it with exhaust and suspension work down on it. I must say the motor in the v7 III feels real nice compared to my old one. I really like how this bike runs.

    Wanting a Griso

So my best friend wants a Griso. He has decided to trade in some of his bikes and get one. He found a nice used one with Arrow full system and a Rapid bike ecu. The problem is that under 4000rpm it runs like crap. The dealer says that is just the way it is. This just pissed him off. We drove two...

Audace the California VS the reviews.

I now have both bikes in the stable. The Audace & the Californian. I have ridden both. I have also read the reviews. I love how the Audace rides and feels on the road. The California is good and feels like a different bike. Both have there merits. I prefer at the moment the Audace. I am very...

    2014 Guzzi California

Bought another Guzzi. Never though I would like a big heavy bike. Fell in love with a Victory Octane. Opened my eyes to the cruiser world. Only natural thing to do was buy the big Guzzi. I am interested in the Guzzi tech blacked out full exhaust. I don't like loud bikes. So I have to think...

    Tune up

Tuned the V7 up this week. What a nice bike to work on. Adjusted valves, new plugs, new wires, new fuel filter, air filter, and oil in all three cavities. Added sump extension as well. I love the way this bike purrs. I have slip-on's and a tune as well. Such a cool bike. Suspension is next.
