Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Congrats! You're going to love the bike. I keep telling anyone that'll listen: the fact that there aren't more Stelvios on the road floors me. It's among the best handling big enduros out there with an engine that is simply amazing.

    Stelvio windscreen

I emailed Mark @ CalSci about the rubbing issue. Here's his response: "The windshield brackets on the stelvio are slightly adjustable. You have to get inside your fairing to get at these. From the factory they're set randomly. If your windshield touches the fairing, loosen the brackets, tip...

    Stelvio windscreen

Thanks for the input and and link, Keith. Much appreciated. It's a different Sock Monkey on ADVrider - I'm not sure what his alias is here on GuzziTech. (I'm MLCavassa on that forum.)

    Stelvio windscreen

Looking at the pics below I borrowed from CalSci's website (I'll return them, I promise...), I guess I'm left wondering where exactly the shield would rub..? In these photos, it appears that the shield is in the lowered position. @kmartin Can you point out where those areas might be? Thanks!

    Stelvio windscreen

Has anyone had any recent experience with the CalSci shields - say within the last 12 months or so on an MY11+ (Gen II) bike? If so, is binding on the front fairing still an issue?

    H4 LED Headlights

I'm curious whether anyone has taken the plunge and tried replacing their stock H4 headlights with an H4 LED headlight? The 2 I've found from reading other forums are the: - H4 LED Headlight Rev2 from ADVmonster (2800 Lumens Low/3000 Lumens High) - 3800 Lumen H4 LED Headlight Bulb from Cyclops...

Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Yeah, at that price it was hard to justify not buying it. And right there's the irony: it's disheartening to see that dealers have to do such deep discounting to move such a great bike off their floors. But I sure am thankful that they did..! Note about AF1 Racing: Absolutely outstanding...

Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Well, 5 years of lurking on this site and I finally get there. Doing a fly-n-ride to pick her up from AF1 Racing in Austin, TX next week. Looking forward to the nice, long break-in ride back to Tucson. 2015 Stelvio NTX VIN: ZGULZU019FM200117 DOP: 11/05/2015

    MY 2016 Questions

To the best of anyone's knowledge, other than color are there any changes between the 2015 and 2016 model years? Even the minor changes such as aux light wiring, plug wires, fuel line and filter, etc.? I guess the question I'm really asking is, after 4 model years of gen II production, has MG...

2016 Stelvio NTX in the Garage

Congrats on the new bike! How do you like the Lava Red color? Having not seen one up close (yet), it's kind of hard to get an idea of exactly how "red" it is. I guess this is the first time I've ever seen matte red...

    Black rocker covers...

Funny you should bring this up. I was just thinking the other day how cool the black Stelvio would look with red rocker covers like the Motus MST V4 below:

    Leg Heat Fix?

Great feedback, everyone. Thanks! I'll start test riding bikes next summer and will gain some firsthand experience on this topic then. Again, heat is a subjective thing; some feel it more than others. I ride a big water-cooled bike now and sometimes under the right conditions (sitting in traffic...

    Leg Heat Fix?

Full disclosure: I do not own a Stelvio and have never ridden one. The Stelvio is however on a very short list of bikes that I am interested in for my next ride (likely purchase fall 2013). I read a review in Motorcycle Consumer News recently which while overwhelmingly positive, mentioned one...
