    Monoshock change........Help

Check with Todd -- I once sent him a step by step with photos for swapping the stock shock with a YSS I obtained from him. If it is not available, send me your email and I'll see if I can locate it for you.

Advice on lowering Stelvio about 1"

I have an 09 Stelvio as well and used one of Todd's yss mono shocks to lower it. I slid the front forks up and found a used Norge side stand for it. I also took off the center stand. If I recall correctly, eye to eye length is 12.5in -- same length as a griseo shock. It worked out very well...

Stucchi Aux Tank & N. to S. American Tour

For those that wondered: The auxillary tank from Stucchi installs well with the GIVI tubular rack system. Their support bracket mounts in the same location, you just have to change how you attach it. The directions that come with tank system are like the You Tube video - in Italian, and as...

    Givi Pannier Racks

Go to the GIVI USA site. You can select Moto Guzzi and then Stelvio. They will show you the bags and rack on a Stelvio and you can download a PDF file from there that shows you the mounting procedure and look on the Stelvio.

Power Commander User Guide and Install info

All is well. I had inadvertently reset it with the ignition switch off. One should always remember maintenance maxim #1: Whenever you have a problem, check the last thing you worked on!

Power Commander User Guide and Install info

I accomplished that. With the bike running I hit TPS reset. I did the quick throttle max and here are the readings. Min voltage - .493 max voltage - .549 middle screen hovering around 0.5.

Power Commander User Guide and Install info

I have the ECU/PC-V/Autotune set-up. I saw the msg regarding AFR revision to improve mileage so I hooked up my laptop and changed the values as indicated and sent the new table. As discussed previously in this forum though, I noted that with the bike warmed up and running the Throttle...

My updated ECU, PC-V, autotune package arrived Wednesday this week. Picked it up at the Post Office at lunch and called back to work to advise them that something had come up. It took me about 2.5 hours to do the install. No issues with the install, everything went pretty much as illustrated...

    Sensor Problem in colder temps?

No other dashboard issues, other than the messages I already mentioned. When I first noted this problem during the winter months - I did check the sidestand switch. I will recheck it though.

    Sensor Problem in colder temps?

On first starting in the am with an ambient temperature of approx 60F or lower, the neutral light will not come on when the key switch is turned on. I also get a "service" and the red triangle symbol on the display. The bike won't start at that point unless I get on it, bring the sidestand up...

    Tank Bag

I have always been happy with RKA products and have one of their bags. It is wedge shaped, so it fits the contour of the tank well and it is not too large for the top of the tank. The price was right as well about $105.00 by the time it arrived at the house. Go to the RKA website and check...

    Starter problem

The bike came with three relays originally from front to rear as indicated: X X X I added the fourth for the auxillary lights to work appropriately. Looking at the wiring diagram it would be hard for me to imagine any of the other three slots being empty.

    Starter problem

Recently did the valve upgrade. No problems -- the old cams and followers actually looked excellent so no issues prior to the upgrade or after in regards to the valve train. Bike has 4300 miles on it. An issue with the starter has emerged though. Yesterday I rode about 12 miles, went in a...

    Moto Guzzi (Trax) panniers

Regarding the High mount of the TRAX. Take a look at my bike in the registry (jonesar). I used pelican bags and the GIVI mounting brackets. The bags are quite strong and very waterproof plus they look great with my black Stelvio. I mounted the bags to the GIVI rack using screws up top and...

    Guzzi foglight install instructions??

Yes I had to get the relay as well. The way I spotted the connectors was lying down with a flashlight and looking up into the area just behind and near the fusebox. I was able to splice into the connectors without removing anything from the bike.

    Guzzi foglight install instructions??

John, Both of the fog light connectors are on the right side. They usually work out to be pretty close to the rear portion of the fuse box but not quite that far forward. They are white plastic each with two connector sections. I spliced into those for each of the motolights. When you think...
