Oh and between you me and George looking after the tuning of my stelvio , Todd , every time he takes it for a spin he' s shocked at how well it runs and idles. Loves the throttle response. Thought you might like to know.

Snow/Todd; I'd be very surprised if George changed the setting of the "throttle abutment screw" ( as Guzzi call it). I know he's well aware of the fact it " mismatch " the throttle bodies. He will however tweak the throttle body connecting rod set screw to settle the idle to a nice smooth tick...
Hello all... I realize this is non-guzzi related. Hence its placement in general category. Some of you out there have been around awhile and are into multiple types of bikes. I was wondering if anyone out there would know a good source for parts for Suzukis ( TL1000S in particular, 2000) I'm...
Just saw this thread... Hit 160+ kph ( 100-105 mph) 2 up with the bags loaded. ( careful in Ontario, 50 kph over and the vehicle is seized and your suspended). Did see 349 kph though at a stop light with a wet sensor
Re: Cross-fitting Norge Scoops for Heat Management on Stelvi
I just read this post Todd. Leafman, The mods Todd has developed for this engine are fantastic!!. I carried them out one at a time on my 09 Stelvio. A big improvement was getting rid of the stock muffler and installing his slip...
I'd be in for a set Todd,if I'm not too late. I just replaced the originals on my stelvio as they have looked like ass for the last couple of years.

Hey Faraway; Mine had all kinds of stupid shit go wrong with it for the first three years of ownership. The last two years have been problem free (knock on wood). To prevent being scolded, or told to sell my bike I stopped contibuting. Worked amazing. Some times no one wants to hear anything...
Nope, mines never set foot in the showroom... it's another guy's in the area who I believe was thinking about selling it. But when I was at Corsa today (just a social call) it's gone. George told me he reconsidered and took it home. They have a 2012 Stelvio sitting out front today.Gotta tell ya...
Tim, Don't know if you remember me or not... I met you and I believe your friends name was Jim at Corsameccanica one Sat. I have been running a BMC that I purchased from Todd in mine along with his airbox mod,PC-V/AT and Muffler. Gotta tell you it all works Great!!!
Doug
Toad; I've had Todd's GT-Sx muffler shown HERE with db killer installed for the last couple of years (I think) now. Really like the pipe. Sounds great without being obnoxious, nicely made and fits perfectly. Something to consider.

Todd, Haven't been online recently and just read this thread. Sorry to hear about the accident.Happy to hear you're going to be allright. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Doug
Dan, Never noticed a change in exhaust sound in about 8000-9000km. ( installed Todds pipe around then). As for popping I seem to recall ,I think it was Kurt that had an intake leak around the manifold ( or whatever the tubes down stream of the Throttle bodies are called) as the clamps had...
Well,Heading north through an intersection in downtown Toronto and the woman turning left from the southbound direction decided to turn in front of me and stop in front of me when she saw me. I managed to brake and swerve around the front end of her car,but I was trying to do too much at the...
The factory bags and engine bars are very good at protecting the bike in a crash as I found out about 4 weeks ago, In case anyone ever wondered about this.

After having fork issue resolved I've been able to put about 150 km on the bike. First ride(s) with Todd's reflashed ECU. Bike is much more responsive and smoother. Starts much better as well. Mechanic who test rode my bike after fork replacement was highly impressed the throttle response...
R/H fork now replaced, both sides are now the later style, hopefully that's it. I must say Todds Ecu reflash is very good, starts better and much smoother fueling mid rpm.

Phang... REALLY,I mean REALLY? You have a battery that is leaking sulphuric acid? That would tend to concern me a wee bit more than the oil in the airbox. Ditch the batt. and get a new one before the back end of the bike falls off!
