That return valve is the fuel pressure regulator. It is mechanically set to operate at a certain pressure. The small tube protruding from it is normally not connected. It allows to change the pressure somewhat at which the regulator operates, by applying a vacuum to it. Out of curiosity I've played with it in the past by connecting it to the inlet of the right cylinder but didn't find any change in running.kwaksam said:Hi, got another query, I'm probably a bit dim, but on the right side of the tank is a petrol return valve, on my bike the main petrol hose is connected, but there is obviously supposed to be another smaller hose connected, presumably a vacuum hose of some kind, now where does that come from?
