Couldn't find after a search. Do I test as a single phase and treat the red/white as a single contact and the green as a single contact or separately.
Unless I'm doing this incorrectly I don't any readings no matter what combinations I try.

Thanks, Roland

Never mind. Had the meter on the wrong symbol. Both green wire values were the same as the red/white. Either .50/.49 forward bias or OL reverse. Not sure about the regulator. Starts off at 14.1v but slowly drops off to 12/12.5v after about 20 minutes. Stator values are correct but may not be when it gets hot.

It's covered in the Service manual. Are you trying to see what voltage it's producing when running, or are you ohm testing it with it not running?

The service manual is somewhat lacking. Ohm testing with not running. I monitor the voltage continuously as its blue toothed to my Moto Guzzi app on my Android. Thanks

That it is, but more so the info is hard to find. I'm not talking about running regulated voltage at the battery, I'm talking about voltage from the stator when unplugged, and/or ohms when not.

Have not check the stator output voltage when running yet. Have checked the stator ohms when not running. 0.6 ohms each, no shorts to ground. I'll do the engine running voltage check and get back. Thank you.

This is the connector from the wire loom exiting the stator cover. I don't know which is terminal 1 but either way starting from right to left and then left to right tested output according to the repair manual description. Reading was 0 volts on each of the phases regardless of rpm. So either the stator is toast or I'm not doing this correctly. Anyway the battery is exhausted from the multiple starts so will have to try again at a later time.

Dumb question, but are you measuring AC voltage or DC voltage? I have caught myself with my meter like yours set to DC instead of AC or AC when trying to measure DC.
