I don't know beans from whatever about it all.
I do know this. In the mid 70s, it was common for people to add an oil cooler to there inline 4 bikes when they did any hop up work. (In other words, waste money. :lol: )
Some of the early oil coolers did not have thermostats. With the lower quality oils of those day, that would mean the oil would, for normal use, stay very thick. It caused a lot of issues.
The Stelvio may not have a thermostat. It may over cool the oil at times.
Or not.
