Mr Pootle
Cruisin' Guzzisti
i've just spent a week in Umbria, and had hoped to see a few Guzzis. Well, I did, if three can constitute a few. I saw half a dozen Triumphs, about the same number of Harleys, maybe ten of those two wheeled VAG Group things, a goodly number of Japanese bike, a lot of BMWs and more scooters than my cat's got fleas.
And to rub it in, the rather fetching Italian lady sat on the back of a Yamaha said "Moto Guzzi, do,they still make those?"
There were a lot of fast moving bikes on the opposite carriageway, seen from the coach window, but they went by in a flash, so I couldn't focus on them quickly enough to identify them. They must have been Guzzis, surely.
