Hi all,

Thought I would ask here before I go on the Guzzi forum and take to dealer. I have a 2014 California 1400 Custom that has just started doing something strange. Sometimes it takes about three goes to start and then when you twist the throttle it doesn't rev. The red triangle with the service word comes up. It doesn't do it all the time.

Yesterday I was overtaking on the open road and lost power as I was just going past car. It just went back to idle revs and the words " Urgent Service" came up. Potentially fatal issue. I pulled over and turned off bike for a couple of minutes.

Restarted and red triangle was there and Service word came up but bike road normally to home. When I stopped and restarted no service lights or words came up and all was normal.

The bike had a full service about 1500k ago

Anyone heard of this happening?
