Sounds like a typical over-heating scenario with an air-cooled engine. Especially if on stock fuel mapping(?). Irony is that factory mapping leans the engine out more in high-heat situations, compounding the problem.This only really happened to me when riding 1+ hours at stop and go speeds in Austin traffic, and with the engine building up temp.
