Well, since I do ALL my own work,I've been researching parts and pretty much everything has to come from the Stealerships who stick it to ya every time.Plus,I can't find a service manual for it.And then ,when ya buy it, the guys working at these stealerships ,who put em together and or service em when ya bring em in,don't know jack sh** about what they're doin cause the stealers won't pay for a good tech, but aren't bashfull when they present you with the bill.So it's not just one thing,it's a bunch of things, but mainly the availabilty or lack there of,of parts locally, plus a shop manual. And the more I learn about these machines, the less I want one. Now,I'm NOT sayin they're a bad motorcycle, just about the parts availability and the outrageous prices of em.So due to those things mentioned,it's turning me away from the Guzzi more and more.Sorry guys, but that's just the way I feel!!! Dave!!!

No. Doesn't sound familiar.

If you look at the top of the V Net website page, you'll see a list of names of guys who you can contact in the event you have a problem with your Venture, and or need assistance.Well, unless it's been removed, my name was there under the "Technical Advisory Committee" hence my Email Addy "Davetac1" the "1" because I was the first guy that the President "Bob Edwards" [now deceased] appointed to that position.Of course,I've been gone now for six years so I'm sure those names have changed and my name is probably gone.
