New Purchase: 2013 V7 Racer

Congrats on your new V7, they truly are works of art and look like they should cost twice as much. I just visited the Miami dealer, Unique Bikes and Leo said the few he was able to get were sold immediately.

FYI on the hair dryer removal of stickers. You need to be real cautious on not using the dryer on too hot a setting as it can begin to soften the paint or begin to melt the plastic. Don't ask me how i know.... ;)

I now use a spray on product made by Turtle Wax called appropriately enough, 'Label and Sticker Remover'
 
If I had to do it again I'd go and pick up some of that remover stuff. The hair dryer method worked for me but it took forever, tiny little bits at a time. The ones on plastic came off easy enough but anything on metal was a pain.
 
Oh wow I'd hate to be recipient of a sun-shot reflection off that tank! That is one great looking Guzzi, congrats.

Hah! Haven't had a problem with the sun yet but maybe it will make me more visible to drivers of the 4 wheel variety. I had a nice ride last Friday; over the Lion's Trail from Caiente into Lake Isabella and Kernville, lunch at the Kernville Brewery and 178 out into the desert. Then down the 14 to the 58 and into Tehachapi. It almost has me to the first service at 600 miles. Could you imagine this thing in an 1100? What a fun bike!

Take a look at the Moto Fizz Through, or their Map bag.

I had the Through on my bike for 12,000+ miles. Loved it. Small, well organized, rock solid, and no marks.
 
Got some gloss black wrapping material and covered the #7 on the front plate to see what it would look like.

The stuff is pretty easy to work with, bubbles are easily pressed out and it comes off without residue. Thinking about trying a side cover too.
