New to me V7 III maintenance questions - still looking but haven't found

Have completely read the OM and browsed through the SM. Lots of browsing and reading on the site here but I still have a few questions I couldn't find after searching here. Will be doing the first service of my 2017 (!) V7 III I just bought with 1023 miles on the clock.

1. Is there a special super-secret technique for removing the Incredible Hulk-resistant engine oil filler cap? I saw that little doohickey tool in the store but it's out of stock right now. I used a 30 mm socket to get it off but can't carry that massive thing around on the bike.

2. What is a good website for ordering Moto Guzzi OEM parts (the kind with online parts fiche -- not sure if I can mention the name of a few I found)? I did look through the Store link at the top of the page but it doesn't seem to carry all OEM parts like the o-rings and crush washers needed for routine maintenance.

3. Are there any cheaper-than-a-$350-center-stand hacks for lifting the rear of the bike for wheel removal or valve inspection?

4. Is there a specific seat treatment/protectant recommended for the stock V7 seats? Would any leather treatment do the job?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

There are good dealers in New England that I know of; Hamlin Cycles in Conneticut, A-J in Gill MA, and Seacoast which is in Derry New Hampshire. A phone call will get you parts. If you don't support local dealers, you won't have any. Are you sure the seat is leather? I haven't seen a V7III so I can't say for sure. As for lifting the bike, I do recommend installing a center stand. Work stands are available, but the center stand stays with the bike if you need to do serviced away from home.

The seat looks like leather, feels like leather, heck, it even smells a little like leather but the OM just says it's made of "refined material" and needs to be protected from rain. That sounds like leather to me.

I doubt it is leather - my 2017 V7III Special is imitation leather - the 'refined material'.
Just keep it clean out of the hot sun for extended periods and dry it off after ride in the wet, like any bike seat.

1. We have the oil cap tools in stock. I’ll revise that ASAP and post again here. Keep it tight, else it will loosen and fall out.
2. There are only a rare few dealers online, that’s just part of the “charm” of owning a Guzzi. GTM can get any OEM part, and we do have a large stock inventory (at our workshop) that we don’t keep online. Email us via the online Store if you don’t see whatever you’re looking for.
3. Google Pit-bull stands. Top shelf products I’ve used since their inception.
4. Tons of good products out there. The seat is not leather.

Looking to place an order from the store soon. I'd like a bit of a rise for the stock bars on my new to me 2017 V7 III that has a dealer installed 2019 "stripes package" (matched fairing, tank, side panels, and seat cowl with a solo seat and bar-end mirrors). Which of the Rizoma risers would fit my handlebar (AZ402B or AZ403B)? Do they both fit and just have a different rise?

Also, I can't seem to find out much (any!) information about this dealer installed package online. I'm looking to (if possible) replace the windscreen with something taller but can't seem to locate the OEM information about the fairing to see if there are any OEM or aftermarket options. Any thoughts?
