I am on my second Stelvio, a 2015 that I bought new in 2016. I just hit 2500 miles and the oil lamp comes on with the red warning triangle. It happens when at idle and low throttle. Dealer looked and said there was a leak, fixed it and changed oil. Light went on again 20 minutes after I left dealer. Brought it back in and they checked wires, changed the sensor, and light still comes on. Now I am told it may be the oil pump, but as I said, it only happens at low idle. Dealer said I can ride until they get the pump in. I am not sure what it needs, if it is safe to ride while I wait and what the issue could be. Oil level is fine, no leaks, and I am frustrated. Any ideas from the readers here?

Turns out it was a gasket deep in the engine that was faulty and rather than have the dealer do the work of taking the engine apart, Moto Guzzi sent them a new engine for me - on warranty. Brooklyn Moto Guzzi got this installed for me and I just tool a 1000 mile ride and it was amazing. Thanks guys
