Oil Sump- paint scratched off...

Has anyone had this part painted or powder coated? Are there any aftermarket spoilers or something that could mask the damage?

About 10 years ago I had the sump and spacer "gunkoated" on my 1000S but after 50,000 miles or so the front section that catches the road krud has a patina of age. Not bad looking and if and when I ever sell the bike this maybe addressed but until then it will stay as is.
On the Norge, I removed the lower plastice because it looks better(IMO) but it exposes the the sump to the road so I spent the $20 bucks or so and bought the lower Breva guard. I don't know if this will work without some modification on the Griso because of the oil cooler but it might be worth the look.

Just as a note, I do not have this problem on the 03Lemans, but it only has about 12,000 miles on the clock.

If your sump splatters really bother you, then I am sure there is something you can do to solve your problem. Maybe some of that Rhino™® truck bed liner stuff or sumpthing...

If you come up with a good and creative solution, come back and share. That's the Guzzitech Way™ after all. Moto Guzzis are far from perfect, which is half of the fun of ownership eh?

Now stop pissing old Roper off. He's had to go off on holiday in order to deal with this shit.

;)
