Morning/Afternoon/Evening all!

I have a posting up here for a 2012 Stelvio NTX and wanted to see your opinions on it.

It has 67000km/41600miles on it, and has been rollerized by the dealer. Furthermore, owner claims that it was looked over by a specialist Guzzi mechanic who put in a new clutch from a California 1400, has new seals all over and fresh fluids. Owner is asking $7500 CAD or ~$5800 USD. Good deal or no bueno? If I were to buy it or even just check it over, what should one take a peek of?

The price is on the high side. #1 question since it's a 2012 is whether it is rollerized. That was the change over year. Flat tappets are a ticking time bomb.
I'm not sure about the Cali 1400 clutch but that sounds sketchy.
Thanks for the response Raven. How much would you say a fair price wouldbe for this Stelvio?

I see quotes like this " it was looked over by a specialist Guzzi mechanic" all the time. I've even seen Classified posts online that work was done in my shop, which most of the time something else completely unrelated/misrepresented to a new buyer. I would demand to know who that was and actually talk to them.
The clutch assy is the same on the 1400 and most all CARC Guzzis; https://gtmotocycles.com/products/oem-8v-clutch-disk

I don't know the CAN market very well, but here in the States, a 2012 in decent shape could pull $5800 (top of market) at a dealer, if it were super clean/garage kept.

Perfetto, thanks for your insight!

I saw the ad for that bike in Calgary. I'm thinking $6000, though I would want to pay less. I paid $9000 CAD five years ago for my 2012 Norge with 20,000 km.
The ad says it had the roller conversion. The seller also offers a "Beetle Map". If he was running that garbage on the bike I would run away. Wait for another one. You could buy the one on Kijiji in Toronto for 6K and ride it home. It has nice new Michelin tires.

I appreciate the effort of you looking into it! Yeah I've heard some horror stories of those Beetle maps too... I love this forum, so much info, experience, and community. Thank you all! (you as well john :))
