I have an '07 Norge 1200 and the heated grips stopped working this last fall, anybody out there know what to check to trouble shoot them,??? The indicator in the dash shows that they are on LO-MED-HI but am not getting any voltage at the grips on the bars!!

The connectors to the heated grips themselves that are located under the tank appear to get corroded easily. Give them a good clean. You can check wire continuity to the grips and the condition of the heater itself by peeling back the grips slightly to reveal the wire terminals.

The wires at the grips look good they are not corroded or broken.

What about the connectors under the tank? Have you checked those? Have you measured voltage at the grips? If so, is there a ground return? If not, the voltage will measure the same at both terminals.

Thanks Guys found the wires under the tank- un-plugged them, and squirted some electrical contact cleaner on them and they now work!! How ever my gear selector went south this summer, I think a spring broke inside! soooo I am going to attempt to pull the tranny and see if I can replace a spring inside or else take it to the Nearest Guzzi dealer to Charleston, WV which I am not yet sure where that is since Speakers Closed down a few years ago!!!
