V100 Front and Rear wheel nut info

Here is my V100 Mandello S sans rear wheel along with the huge 65mm 12-point socket you will need to break the rear axle nut. I may have the record for running over a big nail on a new bike at 375 miles. Glad I got the center stand. I am going to figure out how to make a light pattern wrench for the big nut.

I was wondering if it's possible to get the bolt loose manually or it's possible only whit an air or electric gun (due the tightening torque @260 Nm)
 
Amazon- The socket I got is from Teng-Tools....... CR-V 65mm -- it's a 12 point. With the 1inch to 3/4 reducer, it weighs 4 pounds 4 ounces. You will need a good breaker bar and a solid grunt to break it loose. It really snaps with a good crack when it lets loose since the nut has a taper fit into the rim. My impact gun wouldn't break it.

This is not a roadside project unless you want to dedicate a saddle bag to this stuff. BMW did a nice job with their one-sided swing arm with bolts in a ring pattern so you can remove the wheel with the standard tools we all carry over the road.
 
Does the front axle nut on the V100 use a 30mm socket? I’m having some slim combo front and 65mm rear 3/4” drive sockets made;

 
Will do, and I’m assuming that the Ohlins forks may have a different nut than the non Ohlins and I’ll measure those also, and take photos
I sure hope not, but in the past that was the case. TIA.
 
30mm front nut on a non Ohlins and because of the back wheel and my calipers, the castellated nut on the rear is 70mm internal and 75mm external, but is difficult to get an old calipernwithin the wheel

Thanks a ton Brian. Much appreciated. I read the post above using a 65mm socket, so this makes it even more confusing. I’ll try my 65 on Saturday on one. For those watching this, below is the 2-in-1 tool I've made;

 
I don’t know how a 65mm socket could fit and the service manager only showed a 65mm tool with no description on his fiche/computer
I’m thinking the same, thanks again for your time on it! I thought the rear was the easy one.
I combined this with the rear nut post above.

Can anyone with an S confirm the front axle nut size?
 
Measured with calipers and tape so these are approximate:

V100 S rear axle nut:

ID, 1 1/16"
Nut, 67 - 68 mm
 
Measured the front axle nut with a vernier caliper. 30mm on the nose. Now that's an oddball! I've got tons of tools, but not one wrench or socket that size!
