Just got it firing!
Hey.
I bought my first bike, a V7 III Stone, about 1.5 years back. Last year, I had some trouble firing it up, only to learn that if I hit my Kill Switch, I can't start it back up without some fiddling around underneath the bike. Unfortunately, yet thankfully, a stranger helped so I have no clue what he did.
After the winter season this year, I charged my battery, only to find that my bike won't turn over. Before, I would hear it try, but fail. I tried a few times and ever shook and rolled back and forth to get the inner juices flowing, but nothing helped. After a few attempts, what little sound it made stopped completely. I dont have the cash right now to get it towed and looked at, which is part of the reason why I want to get on it (to save the $100 I spend weekly on gas for my truck).
I'm handy enough to have been able to take out and charge the battery and replace the broken clutch lever. Could that be it? The clutch? I can still push it with the clutch in and change gears, so I know I did something right.
