V7 two Swingarm greasing

If you simply undid the clamps on the Swing arm CV boot you could inject some grease - without doing any harm ?
( I am guessing / asking )
Yeah sure. Still you have to undo the whole swing arm to have access for swingarm pivot area.

Maybe you could show us how you can get grease into the splines without removing the driveshaft ?
I have no personal experience with the V7 models . Peter

Sorry for the late reply Peter. I just followed the work shop manual. Is your bike a v7? If you want v7 work shop manual that I can e mail it.

Use a stand that you can lift the rear of the bike.
Remove the exhaust rear part of the pipe on left hand side. Undo both shocks from the bottom. Remove the axle and the wheel.
Half of the first part is done now.

draining the final drive oil is a good idea before you start it. Once the bolts are out you will be able to pull the final drive out. The whole unit should come out. The back of the final drive will not come off if it’s stuck like mine which means you will have to tap around the joint until it separates. Make sure the tapping has to be mild otherwise you will damage around the joint.
That’s pretty much it. I took lots of photos to ensure that I wouldn’t fit it back wrong.
