Mine still at DHL...Received 21st. Tried it out today. Excellent. So far I think it's easy enough to use. I'll hook it up to the laptop and bike tomorrow and see if there are any updates.
No, and no updates are needed or available.Mine still at DHL...
Is a laptop required to use the Diag tool?
I would also be interested in this information. Did you figure out if this tool can calibrate the OEM TPMS system? Will this tool pair the OEM TPMS wheel sensors to the bike's computer?
AF-1 may reset for no charge, but it is up to the individual dealer. Some/most will probably charge. The PADS license isn't cheap and the dealer has to recoup the expense.Has anyone on this forum besides the pro Guzzi techs had one of the tools long enough to try other functions besides the service icon reset? If so, could you list what you've used it for and also give your thoughts on ease (or not) of using the tool?
Also, my dealer (AF-1 Racing in Austin) told me they'll reset the service icon gratis and w/o an appointment, so hopefully no one who is close to a dealer is getting these just to reset the service icon. Seems like a great tool for anyone who plans on doing a lot of their own work though.
So for 1 and 2, it diagnosed what caused the errors as well as enabled you to delete them?I've already deleted:
1. ABS error
2. Fuel injection error
3. Maintenance icon.
So far so good.
I would like to confirm if this is a typo or not, as the Euro5 standard is a 6-pin connector. Thanks. As long as the bike uses the red tipped 6-pin plug, it should be good.
Yes, corrected on both posts; 6-pin.I would like to confirm if this is a typo or not, as the Euro5 standard is a 6-pin connector. Thanks.
