I love this new toy but being the wrong side of 50 the bars were too low for me, just finished a conversion to Cafe Sport bars using Griso risers, very pleased with the new riding position and ready to tour Europe.
Thanks for that John but I can't see the separate pushrods in the diagram, I guess the pushrods are part of the master cylinder, anyway I have made two rods for the brake and clutch and they work fine, but its still a mystery why they went missing.
I was checking out my new toy today, V11 RM, and noticed that there seems to be something missing in the brake lever, it looks like there should be a pushrod but there aint, checked out the clutch lever and its the same, the adjuster screw is pushing on the piston, i'm sure its not right can...
Just bought this Rosso Mandello and it has a nice carbon fibre tail unit, side panels and hugger anybody know who makes this as it's a great improvement on the stock dull grey?
This seems to be a common problem, there is a drilling into the spark plug area to drain water, you can see it in between the fins, the seals on the spark plug tubes leak, my cure was to remove the tube and put some silicone sealant on the o ring, seems to have stopped it.
Thanks for your help with wire locations Ray, the Gipro came super quick and it's fitted and working, I fitted it to my Griso but the basic wire colours were the same as the Stelvio, nice to see the unit is smaller than the old one so easier to mount.
Intresting post, I last tried to fit a Digi gear indicator to an 8v 1200 Sport a few years ago and couldn't get it to work so gave up, I would like one on my Griso so do you think the Healtech unit is now different to the older ones?
They look fine Spyke, how did you stop them turning on the bolts? not something I need as I have the Corbin solo seat but I would think necessary if you carry a pillion.
I chose an 1100 Sport as a donor for this one because it has good brakes and suspension already and the best feature is the nice tank, they are getting a bit hard to find cheap now and I wouldn't want to do this to a mint one.
I finished the paint job on the Givi fairing today, colour is a good match and quite easy to do, the green is a water based paint so it has to have a coat of matt lacquer.
