Something adrift inside the stock exhaust collector box under the engine perhaps?

    Tank Breather 1100 sport c

The pipe that runs from the filler neck, through the tank and out the bottom is a water drain for water that collects round the filler neck. Make sure you keep this clear, or you will end up with water in tank, a load of rusty sludge, soon to be followed by a blocked fuel filter and possibly a...

    aftermarket seat for 1980 sp1000?

How about the standard skunk seat from a T3 California? As long as you don't run the standard T3 Cali grab rail, there is plenty room for a pillion. Solo, you can shift around to suit. Phil

    V11 EV cutting out

Had kind of similar on my Sporti. It would start once the engine was hot, then if I tried opening the throttle, it would hit a wall about 5k, acting as if the ignition had been cut and as it got hotter the rev ceiling would get lower and lower. I was starting to think it was the Cam position...

    Mounting Power Commander LCD display?

Had an email back from Dyna, looks like it's a 4-40 imperial.

    Mounting Power Commander LCD display?

Nope, smaller than 2mm, or at least a 2mm screw binds within the first thread or so.

    Mounting Power Commander LCD display?

Its actually just the thread of the holes on the back of the PC LCD display I need. There are three holes in an equilateral triangle spaced about 20mm apart. They are close to 2mm diameter holes, but not quite, so suspect they will be an imperial thread of some kind or another. Phil

    Mounting Power Commander LCD display?

Does anyone know the size of the three brass bush screw holes on the back of a PC LCD Display module? I Want to come up with a neat on bike mounting solution. Thanks, Phil

    Clutch arm pivot pin

Late yet again to another party (sorry). I had exactly the same issue after my Sporti had been stood for a while. As the pivot is a bit innaccesible (as you have found out) I resorted to huge quantities of spray lube being applied, at the same time leaving the cable unhooked, and working the...

    Fuel s/off valve needed

Due to a malfunctioning petcock on my 1100 Sport i, I have rarely if ever bothered to shut off the fuel at the tank with no ill effects. I suspect you will find the same. There is little if any tendency for the injectors to stick open AFAIK, and even if they did, there would be next to no...

Many thanks Todd, always open to input from people who know Guzzis well, so your thoughts on the map would be welcome. Bear in mind that I am now running that map on top of a Creedon chip, so I might well be a bit rich in some areas, though the tickover is a hell of a lot more stable than either...

Many thanks for the welcome Andy. I have a load of photos on Photobucket; http://s34.photobucket.com/user/PhilPassmore/library/Guzzi and a youtube vid of the Cadwell Park track day; And from the vid I reckon an average speed for the 'full' circuit was about 60mph including the mountain...

Hi all, though a Guzzisti since 1981, I have only just hooked up with this group. Started with a T3 Cali, but have been on a 1100 Sporti for about 15 years. It has just had a bit of a fettle and is a bit non standard, and I love her to bits! Phil
